Our Little Crumpets team

meet our founder, Clare

I founded Little Crumpets while looking for a home-from-home environment for my own children, and I’m now based at our Brantwood Avenue setting to expand that vision. I wanted to create a nurturing space where each child feels at home, makes lifelong friends, and parents have peace of mind knowing their children are safe and well cared for.

After 20 years at British Airways, I understood the challenges of balancing work and childcare. I wanted to ease daily pressures on families, ensuring parents wouldn't worry about cooking or unexpected work demands. At Little Crumpets, we know workdays don't always go as planned, and we offer flexible childcare to manage life's unexpected challenges.

I'm grateful to be part of a child's primary school journey, keeping them happy, engaged and creating wonderful memories. It continues to be a pleasure to be part of so many families in and around Isleworth.

For the past ten years, I've called Old Isleworth home, and this wonderful community has become my heart and soul. Here, I run Little Crumpets on Worple Road. As an Ofsted-registered childminder, I'm touched by the trust families have placed in me. My love for nature guides my approach, and I adore exploring the world's beauty with the children through outdoor adventures.

My background in marketing and events has taught me the art of organisation, communication, and creativity. I craft days filled with warmth, creativity, and joy. My passion for interior design helps me create nurturing spaces that inspire little minds and make children feel truly special.

At 45, I've learned that the most precious gift we can give children is our genuine love and attention. I'm grateful to continue this beautiful journey of nurturing, learning, and growing together at Little Crumpets.

A lifelong resident of Old Isleworth, I'm 47, married, and a proud mum of three wonderful grown-up children. As a qualified integrative psychotherapeutic counsellor for both children and adults, I run my own private practice just outside of Little Crumpets, where I've worked for the past seven years.

During this time, what I've cherished most is getting to know each and every child on a deeper, more personal level. It brings me so much joy to offer them warmth, care, and a genuine sense of safety each day. In my spare time, I enjoy reading e-books, spending quality time with my family, and getting hooked on anything crime-related or interior design shows.

I’ve had the privilege of working at Little Crumpets since 2020, with a special interest in providing care for children with additional needs.

Working with children is truly my calling. I feel honoured to be part of their lives and witness their growth. Clare has created a wonderful environment — a safe, fun, and creative space where children can be themselves and build lasting friendships with others from different schools. I'm incredibly grateful for this job. Through these little ones, I've gained a unique perspective on the world and feel lucky to be part of their developmental journey.

I've been part of the Little Crumpets team since 2017, working with children in various roles since leaving school. Over the years, I've watched many little ones grow from children into young adults, and being part of their journey has been incredibly rewarding.

What I love most about working at Little Crumpets is the warm atmosphere. It's deeply satisfying to see the children flourish, enjoying activities and forming special bonds that often continue even after they leave for secondary school.

I’m 17 years old, and I work two days a week at Little Crumpets. My academic background is based on childcare, where i completed my level 3 in childcare, and also work part time in a nursery setting. Outside of work, I enjoy going to the gym and spending time with family and friends.

I love working at Little Crumpets because there is always a happy vibe, where the children can build relationships, make friends, explore new possible interests, and be part of a family. The positive atmosphere at Little Crumpets makes it easy to stay motivated and excited about what I do.
