Little Crumpets at school
We are proud to have been given the opportunity to open our very first Little Crumpets at School, launching at Worple School in September 2026. Our setting will be open not only to children from Worple School, but also to those attending St Mary’s School and The Blue School.
why Little Crumpets at school?
We asked ourselves: why not bring our unique “home-from-home” experience into a local school setting?
For the past 12 years, Little Crumpets has been a home-from-home (home-based) setting where we’ve had the pleasure of caring for children from these schools in our home. During this time, we’ve seen first-hand the long-lasting friendships that grow and flourish between children attending different schools.
Thanks to the wonderful things said about Little Crumpets within the community, and to all the families who have been part of our journey, demand has always exceeded the space we’ve had available and after years of wishing we could welcome every family who has asked for their child to join Little Crumpets, but not always being able to due to limited space, we are so excited to now expand into a school environment.
At Little Crumpets at School, we remain passionate about creating a nurturing and welcoming environment. With hot, nutritious, home-made meals prepared in our very own Little Crumpets kitchen, a carefully selected team of highly trained, dedicated and committed staff, and over 12 years of hands-on experience behind everything we do, we provide a space where every child feels safe, happy, and cared for.
Our vision is to create a setting that feels different from the school day. With softer lighting, cosy furnishings, and thoughtful touches, children will feel as though they’ve stepped into a warm, fun, and creative environment. They will be welcomed with open arms and encouraged to be part of a caring, family-style atmosphere.
Our “Cupboard of Dreams” will be filled with sparkle, stickers galore, and all the creative materials an arts and crafts enthusiast could imagine. Alongside this, we offer a variety of toys and games suited to all ages, as well as outdoor space beyond what we could offer before.

Our aim is simple: to create a place children love coming to, and where parents feel confident knowing their children are happy, safe, and having a wonderful time.
