Little Crumpets at home

At Little Crumpets we’re in a privileged position to be part of the children and their family’s lives right from Reception to Year 6 and often beyond. The primary school years are precious — a time when memories are vivid and friendships, adventures, and little moments stay with children forever. We’re here to help create those wonderful memories, proud to be part of their journey and to guide them through these important, joy-filled years.

times that work for you all

We’ve often been called the ‘fourth emergency service’ — here to help parents juggle the ever-tricky work-life balance. We’re always ready to step in, support, and make sure both children and parents feel cared for and looked after.  Work, family, life — it’s a juggle. We’re here to help catch the balls. Collect from clubs. Flexible hour changes, stuck in traffic in a meeting family emergency/pickles.

oodles of fun with no screens

Every day at Little Crumpets is different. Because we know each of our Little Crumpets individually, we always have them in mind when choosing activities, arts and crafts, games, and special moments. Little Crumpets is good old-fashioned childhood — a place where imaginations are set free, adventures are had, and wonderful creations are made.

In the summer months, the children eat outside in the garden, the paddling pool and waterslide come out, and the garden is filled with laughter and play. Everything you, as parents, would wish for your child to enjoy while you’re at work — we do our very best to guess it, create it, and make it happen.

no screens, all heart

There’s a world to discover beyond a screen. Here, we talk, share stories, and learn all about our Little Crumpets. Without digital distractions, we can truly connect — giving them the attention they deserve.

free-form play

After a structured day at school, our Little Crumpets need space to unwind and play on their own terms. At Little Crumpets, we tune in to what brings them joy, letting them lead the way in a space that feels like home.

arts & craft

Our Arts & Crafts cupboard at Little Crumpets is bursting with colourful pens, beautiful paints, paper, art kits, sparkles, and glitter. We love those moments when little hands fling it open, eyes filled with wonder, as they set off on a journey of creativity and fun.

home cooked meals

There’s no such thing as small portions here at Little Crumpets; we make plenty to ensure there are 2nds and even 3rds!. Our Little Crumpets are our toughest food critics — and we wouldn’t have it any other way! We love experimenting with new dishes, revisiting old favourites, and taking menu requests. Mealtimes are a big part of our day, and we aim for every child to go home with a full tummy and a happy heart (leaving you one less thing to think about after a busy day).

birthdays are special

At Little Crumpets, we absolutely love celebrating birthdays! Our Little Crumpets are lucky enough to have two birthdays a year — one for their actual birthday and another at Little Crumpets. They get to choose whatever they'd like for dinner and even pick their cake, from the flavour to the toppings. And even if their birthday falls during the holiday, we make sure to celebrate their special day here with us.
